The spring meeting of the Greater Yellowstone Coordinating Committee (GYCC) took place at the Holiday Inn in West Yellowstone, Montana on April 13, 2016. Several audio files are included below to provide those unable to attend an opportunity to listen to updates from the GYCC Terrestrial Invasive Species Subcommittee and the Fire Management Group, a presentation by Yellowstone National Park’s Social Scientist Ryan Atwell, and the great community conversation had around changing visitation in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Ryan Atwell, the Social Science Program Lead at Yellowstone National Park presented on his recent work both in the park and in gateway communities looking at Yellowstone’s changing visitation.
Continuing the Conversation – Changing Visitation
The last portion of the meeting provided an opportunity for the managers, community members and other attendees the opportunity to comment on what changes – both positive and negative they are seeing in the ecosystem.
